If Your Pet Could Talk

By: Mary Neron

It is a time to reflect on the things you can do to improve the life of your pet, and to spread the word to others who may not realize that loving a pet is just not enough.

When you take home a pet it becomes your responsibility to take on all of its needs, just as you would do for any member of your family. That means proper nutrition and housing and providing proper medical care. It means making sure they do not reproduce at random by having them spayed or neutered unless you are a reputable, licensed breeder. Responsible pet owners keep their pets up-to - date on vaccinations.

Your pet's quality of life depends on you. In the life and care of your pet, love truly means never having to say you're sorry.
