After receiving veterinary care at the SPCA, doctors discovered that one of the horses, Peli, is 5 months pregnant. Due to her extreme level of malnutrition the SPCA does not know if the foal will survive.
Princessa's teeth were in such poor condition that she requires a specialized diet. The SPCA also said that she is suffering from severe arthritis and it is impacting her quality of life.
Reyna has a severe lice infestation and veterinarians suspect she is not producing enough milk for her foal, Danny.
Danny is between 2 and 3 months old. He is covered in lice and bite marks. He was also suffering from dehydration.
