Front Range Equine Rescue

By: Hilary Wood

Front Range Equine Rescue ( FRER ) is a nonprofit organization working to end the abuse and neglect of horses through direct rescue and education.

We believe neglect, suffering and death often occur due to ignorance rather than outright cruelty. FRER provides timely rescue of horses in need, as well as educational clinics and seminars on a variety of horse care topics designed to help prevent horse abuse.

FRER interact with local agencies which are authorized to investigate reports of potential abuse and to seize animals.

We utilize a resource network of qualified equine veterinarians, farriers and other horse professionals who assist in our efforts to help horses removed from harmful situations.
